It’s not smoke, it just feels steamy enough for a Tennessee Williams play. I remember the trailer for the film really got my attention, with my family at the drive-in, when I was 12 or 13. I could tell that was one movie they were not going to take us to see . . .

No, I haven’t entered some new phase of paintings inspired by Biblical illustrations of divine sun rays – this is what I’ve been seeing the last couple of days. They’re just your ordinary everyday divine sun rays. Any resemblance to Sunday school art is unintentional.
