Sunset, Monday, 27 April 2009 (Scotland)

Oil on linen, 16 x 20.This is more or less a one-time stunt. George Burns, of Burns Pet Health USA and Land of Holistic Pets U.K., found out about the series today and in his enthusiasm provided me with photographs of the sunset as he saw it tonight in Scotland. The view is from Symington in Ayrshire; beyond the ridge is Troon, and then the Firth of Clyde. George thought it would be great to do the sunset in Scotland and in Virginia on the same day.
